fib SYMPOSIUM 2019
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
(SCIENTIFIC PAPERS AND PROJECTS PRESENTATIONS)
Participants wishing to present a paper or a project in accordance with the Symposium Topics are invited to submit abstracts by 31 September 2018 (Extended deadline) (for scientific papers) and by 31 October 2018 (for project presentation). The abstract should clearly point out the main objectives and conclusions of the paper/project.

SCIENTIFIC PAPERS ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION

As a first step, abstract of a scientific paper must be submitted online as plain text directly to the ConfTool by 31 September 2018 . It should consist of 250-350 words and must be written in English.

The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts and notify authors of their acceptance by 15 October 2018. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit both a full paper and extended abstract to the Symposium. Templates for Symposium papers (between 6 and 8 pages) and templates for extended abstracts (total length of 2 pages including photos) will be available on the fib Symposium 2019 website from August 2018. Symposium papers must be submitted to the ConfTool by 31 October 2018.

Scientific paper will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of renowned experts. In case of a positive review result you will be invited to submit both revised paper (taking into account the comments of the reviewers) and extended abstract. The paper will be included in the Symposium Proceedings (published as eBook) and presented at fib Symposium 2019. The extended abstract of the paper will be published in a book of abstracts.


PROJECTS PRESENTATIONS ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION

As a first step, short abstract of project presentation must be submitted online as plain text directly to the ConfTool by 31 October 2018. It should consist of 250-350 words and must be written in English.

The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts of project presentation and notify authors of their selection by 21 December 2018. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit extended abstracts to the Symposium and to present their projects at fib Symposium 2019. Templates for extended abstracts for project presentations (total length of 2 pages including photos) will be available on the fib Symposium 2019 website from August 2018. Extended abstracts must be submitted to the ConfTool by 25 January 2019. Extended abstracts of the Projects Presentations will be published in a book of abstracts.
